As public servants, LCBO employees are responsible for acting ethically. One item that is of critical important is making sure that no activities conducted with current or potential partners may be interpreted as an attempt to influence relationships or performance.
In addition to our Code of Business Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy, and moving forward throughout the year, LCBO representatives are not to accept individual invitations to meals, entertainment, or gifts from any person, group or entity that does or looks to do business with the LCBO. This applies to trade partners, suppliers, agents, vendors, and any organizations we may work with to serve Ontarians or support our employees. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
As we begin to prepare for marketplace changes and to implement our Future State Modernization program, we will be laser focused this year on the fundamental work ahead. Thank you for helping ensure we continue to move forward with integrity during a highly transformative time.
