On April 1, we introduced an Expanded Product Detail Form (EPDF), a new requirement in the product submission process that is completed separately from NISS. This form is an interim measure until the NISS transitions to LCBO Gateway as part of LCBO's Future State Modernization program.

Incorporating feedback from suppliers, we have updated the form to eliminate duplicate information captured in NISS, streamline the supplier/agent experience, and expedite the product application process.

Changes to form:

·       Removal of estimated freight rate and freight source (no longer required)

·       Removal of accolade and scores questions (input remains in NISS)

·       Some of the new product attributes and wine varietal composition fields have been made 'Optional' instead of ‘Mandatory’.

·       A timely response to product submission questions, including EPDF, leads to a faster overall process.
