Ann Patel, Sr. Category Manager, Southern Hemisphere Wines and Mark McCue, Category Administrator, New World Wines & Specialty Spirits will be retiring from the organization starting December 31st, 2024. We would like to thank Ann and Mark for their various contributions over the years and wish them all the best in the future. We all will miss them at LCBO as they start this new exciting chapter of their lives.
We are pleased to announce that Marc Staples has been promoted to Sr. Category Manager, Southern Hemisphere Wines replacing Ann Patel. Marc has held progressively senior roles in the organization. Marc brings a deep understanding of category management and product knowledge to the role. Marc will start in his new role effective December 9th, 2024 and will report to Marie Cundari.
We're thrilled to welcome Genna Gingerich to the team as the Product Manager for North America (excluding Ontario) replacing Marc Staples. Genna has 15+ years of buying experience and has held progressive positions at various retailers including Indigo and Pusateri’s. Genna also brings product knowledge and a passion for wine, holding a several certifications including WSET3. Genna joins the organization on December 9th, 2024 and will report to Astrid Brummer.
Jason Steidman will be joining the Merchandising team, replacing Mark McCue Category Administrator, New World Wines & Specialty Spirits. Jason will join the team effective December 9th, 2024, and will report to Dana Pencz.
Ginny Demain has returned from parental leave and has assumed the role of Product Manager, European Wines & Destination Collection covering Greece, Eastern/Central Europe and Destination Collection (Greece, Portugal, Central Europe & Italy) reporting Liam Salichuk.
