We are pleased to announce the following changes on the Destination Collection & European Wines team:
- Ashley Ennis has joined the team as Acting Product Manager covering Specialty Spirits, Sake, Licensee Only and Destination Collection (East Asia, Italy, California, Spain, South Africa, Chile & Argentina). Ashley will be covering for Ginny Demain who will be heading off on parental leave effective October 10th, 2023. Ashley has 10+ years of buying and planning experience gained from holding progressive positions at various retailers including Canopy Growth, Sephora, Holt Renfrew & HBC. Most recently, she was the Category and Planning Manager at Canopy Growth. In this role, she developed and owned the category strategy for Canopy's Retail division.
- Julie Hauser has returned from her parental leave and has assumed the Product Manager role for Spain, Portugal, Germany & Specialty Wines, reporting into Paul Farrell.
- Liam Doherty has returned from leave and will resume his role as Category Administrator for European Wines.
To improve efficiencies and optimize category management, the Sparkling and Rose businesses will now be managed under the respective category manager buyer based on country of origin. In addition, all channels (GL/Vintages/DC) for Central/Eastern Europe will be managed under the Destination Collection team.
