As you know, LCBO is transforming our business and implementing new technologies, including LCBO Gateway, a new portal to view and action purchase orders, payments and invoices.
As we approach the launch on April 1, 2026, there will be a migration period where new information cannot flow into our systems. As a result, the following impacts and actions should be noted to ensure a smooth transition and prevent any interruptions to your business.
· February 16: Please submit any changes to information, including contact, account or banking details, prior to February 16.
· February 23: Please submit any changes to product or pricing, including product SKUs, product descriptions, and price quotes, by February 23. Note: The February 2 quote submission deadline has been extended to February 23.
· March 23 (12pm) until March 31: LCBO retail customers will not be able to order online for delivery (to a store or home)
· March 25 (11pm) until March 31: LCBO retail customers and hospitality customers will not be able to order online for Same-day Pickup (orders must be picked up by 12pm on March 28 otherwise they will be cancelled).
· March 23 (6pm) until March 31: Wholesale customers will be unable to place orders during this time using regular ordering processes, with the exception of licensees who shop in store and/or purchase from agents (noting below deadline). Wholesale customers are encouraged to plan ahead and order additional inventory prior to this time, however, alternative ordering processes will be in place for some wholesale customers starting March 24 to allow for continued inventory flow of select SKUs from LCBO and The Beer Store. SKUs from supplying sources will be unavailable for purchase during this time. Note: Relevant wholesale customers may continue to purchase from suppliers participating in the Direct Delivery Program during this time.
· March 27 (12pm) until March 31: Agents will be unable to transact in Elite. Opendock will accommodate order pick up until April 1.
· March 28 (12pm) (Relevant to supplying sources): ASNs in GMS must be submitted. Orders without shipping notifications will be cancelled at this time. Any supplier adjustments must be submitted by April 9.
· March 28 until March 31: LCBO will not be opening or amending any purchase orders.
· March 30 (evening): Both lcbo.com and wholesale.lcbo.com will be offline until April 1.
· April 1: Go live, including resumption of online ordering and the launch of LCBO Gateway.
