The LCBO is planning a special offer to coincide with Gambero Rosso’s Italian Wine Guide’s Ontario tasting events in May of 2024. This offer will be scheduled for May 2024, (date is TBD). The offer will exclusively include wines that have received Tre Bicchieri in the upcoming 2024 Guide. Producers have now been informed of their awards, though the guide is still to be published. Please note that Gambero Rosso is planning events in both Toronto and Ottawa in 2024 and while we are supporting them with this offer, these are not LCBO events.

Participation

If you are interested in participating in this offer, please note you must meet the following criteria:

  1. The wines offered must be awarded Tre Bicchieri in the 2024 guide (not previous guides)
  2. Alternative size-formats would be considered.
  3. If possible, please note if the winery has participated in the Toronto event in the past and if they plan on participating in 2024.
  4. Products selected will be purchased directly from the call, there will not be a tasting sample required.

Please note that it is not possible for us to accept every wine that received Tre Bicchieri in the guide. This will be a curated offer reflecting some of the guide’s top performing wines from across Italy as well as our market needs. Submissions must be entered into Call ID 262 Vintages; 3750 Gambero Rosso 2024 Tre Bicchieri Special Offer in NISS for consideration.

This call closes on November 15th, 2023 and accepts and declines will be confirmed by December 1st, 2023.
