For nearly 100 years we have been on the frontline of responsible service and consumption. This responsibility is a significant part of our Spirit of Sustainability platform and Good People pillar, and we continue to identify ways to improve and evolve how we help Ontarians make the perfect, responsible choice easily.

This is why we have evolved our Good People commitment to Safe & Informed Consumption and established a new Moderation Mandate. Through this mandate, we are committed to providing products, information, and the responsible services Ontarians need to make positive drinking choices.

In the coming months, we will be increasing efforts around responsible marketing and communications to consumers, increasing availability of product information and growing and profiling alternative offerings that are lower sugar, lower calorie, lower in alcohol and even alcohol-free. We launched a Lighter Choices page on the LCBO.com that features these wide range of products, information, and recipes to make discovering the perfect, alternative choice easy for Ontarians.

We are also excited to expand our fundraising efforts to innovative organizations whose mission aligns with our Moderation Mandate.

We encourage our industry partners to join us in strengthening responsible marketing efforts and innovative product offerings that support Ontarians in making positive drinking choices.
