DISTRIBUTION CENTRE AUTHORIZATION POLICY & APPLICATION
Distribution Centre Authorization Policy & Application
The LCBO is implementing the government’s vision for an expanded alcohol marketplace and plays a central role as the exclusive wholesaler to all retailers and as a distributor to businesses.
In order to support an efficient distribution system that continues to create opportunities for private businesses and provides options to meet the needs of LCBO wholesale customers, the Distribution Centre Authorization Policy outlines the conditions under which LCBO will authorize the use of Distribution Centres to: 1) Consolidate Orders, or 2) Pick and Consolidate Orders.
If you would like to apply to this policy, please:
Review the eligibility requirements in the Distribution Centre Authorization Policy found below.
•The LCBO will review your application to ensure that it is complete and meets the eligibility requirements and policy conditions.
•If approved, the LCBO will issue an Agreement that must be fully executed before the authorization becomes active.
As you know, LCBO works with contracted carriers to move LCBO-supplied products to your stores. This fee-based delivery option remains available, and no action is required if you do not want to change delivery partners.
