As you know, LCBO has reached an agreement with OPSEU, ending the strike as of 12:01 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, July 22. We thank our partners and customers for their continued patience as we transition our operations back to business as usual over the next several weeks.
While we are eager to get back to work with you, there will be a period of recovery necessary for our team to transition back to their everyday roles. Over the next week, we will be back in touch on specifics regarding our programs and activities, including P6 and merchandising promotions, in-store tastings and visits, sample testing and results, and NISS and MPTS applications. Meanwhile, we will continue to pause trade visits until August 7.
We are also working diligently on getting your products onto our shelves for in-store and online shopping for all customers.
As an interim measure, direct delivery from beverage alcohol manufacturers to LCBO Convenience Outlets will continue to be available while our business continues to recover.
Thank you again for your support and understanding over the past few weeks. LCBO looks forward to continuing to serve our retail and wholesale customers, support our local communities, and deliver value to Ontarians.
