Through Spirit of Sustainability, the LCBO is committed to enhancing diversity within our industry. That’s why we launched the Spirit of Inclusion Initiative, a program designed to create opportunities for diverse women to enter, advance and thrive in the beverage alcohol industry.

Through Good Partnerships with Ontario education institutions, charitable organizations and trade partners, we will provide bursaries and scholarships, facilitate mentorship relationships, and identify paid co-op placements for diverse women who are looking to begin or advance their careers in the winery, brewery, and distillery fields.

Please download and review the documents below, which outline opportunities for you - our Good Partners - to support the Spirit of Inclusion Initiative.

We've also developed resources to support you sharing these opportunities with your colleagues and networks. Please see below for a documents outlining how to become a Spirit of Inclusion Initiative mentor and how eligible students can apply for scholarships, bursaries and programming.

We also encourage co-operative education (co-op) or paid internships for our students. Not only can can co-op students and paid interns be an extremely valuable asset, but these programs also help our students gain real-life experience and industry workplace exposure. To support you with creating co-op and internship positions for our SOII students, we’ve outlined the types of positions they will be trained for in the document below.
