The Aeroplan program offers a cost-effective way for our Trade Partners to engage customers through bonus points to drive sales. Currently, these bonus point offers are limited to single SKUs. Starting with P7 applications bonus opportunities will be expanded to include bundled offers, flexible start, and end dates, and combination offers (bonus points + LTOs). Examples of these include:

  1. Bundled pairs – buy pairs of products to receive the bonus points.
  2. Bundles – buy 2 or more products to receive the bonus points. The bundle can be any size.
  3. Flexible start and end dates enable shorter promotions for seasonal events such as Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
  4. Combo Offers – bonus Aeroplan points + LTOs
  5. Coupon offers – Customers can earn bonus points when they purchase the promoted product and hand in the associated coupon. These could be handed out during in-store tastings.

Aeroplan at the LCBO:

Members earn 1 point for every $4 spent at retail LCBO stores. We will roll out earn to our digital channels in 2022. Members can redeem their Aeroplan points for travel, merchandise, or gift cards, including LBCO physical and digital gift cards, via the Aeroplan eStore.

  • - Price per point: $0.025
  • - Signage fee of $750 per product offer

Trade Reporting:

Each period Trade partners will receive reporting on each bonus offer including sales results and demographic information.
