The LCBO constructs an average of 18-20 stores per year. The LCBO Planning and Construction department manages the project from start to finish. The majority of our projects are interior fit-ups, but the scope may also include construction of the base building. Projects are tendered through the Procurement and Contract Management department.
The average interior fit-up takes 12-weeks from start to substantial completion. The LCBO design consultant prepares an interior design package. The Architectural Engineering Consultants then prepare full tender drawings and documentation from this package and the LCBO standard specifications.
Upon completion, contract documents are forwarded to Procurement and Contract Management for tendering.
